Storm Volleyball Training

At Storm we are always finding ways to help volleyball players become better. That’s why we’re launching an all new volleyball training program for the summer for volleyball players in the Corpus Christi/Coastal Bend Area called Storm Summer Volleyball Prep.

What Is Storm Summer Volleyball Prep?

It’s four weeks of Volleyball Technique Training plus Athlete Performance Training with our Elite Coaches and Trainers three times a week. Currently it is only for athletes who will be in the 8th-12th grades next school year.

It’s also broken down into two areas of focus you can register for which will allow us to focus a little more to the type of training these athletes need:

  • Hitter/Setters – Will focus on their specific area on the court while their athlete training will be more focused on jump, agility, & strength
  • Defensive Players – Will focus on their specific area on the court while their athlete training will be more focused on quickness, agility & strength

Each group will only have 8 athletes max so the volleyball training will be geared around semi-private lessons to focus the maximum on what these athletes need and get them maximum touches on the court.

How Does Storm Summer Volleyball Prep Work?

Athletes will have two types of training sessions

  • Two Sessions of one hour on the court working volleyball skill and technique drills
  • Three Sessions of one hour of athlete performance training with a high emphasis on explosive speed and agility training for our defensive players and explosive jump and agility training for hitters/setters.

There will be three training days a week: Sunday’s, Tuesday’s & Thursday’s

All training will happen at the Storm Training Center located at 11265 Leopard St., Corpus Christi, TX 78410

For volleyball athletes who will be in the 8th-12th grades in the upcoming 2021-22 school year.

Cost is $350 for the full month of training.

The Weekly Schedule for these will be specific. Athletes will train three days weekly:

Day 1 – Sunday at 2pm – 4pm —- one hour of volleyball and one hour of athlete performance training

Day 2 – Tuesday from 4:30pm – 6:30pm —- one hour of volleyball and one hour of athlete performance training

Day 3 – Thursday from 4:00pm – 5:30pm —- one and a half hours of athlete performance training

Week 1 – June 6th-10th:

Sunday 2-4pm, Tuesday 4:30pm-6:30pm, Thursday 4pm-5:30

Week 2 – June 13th-17th Will Be Adjusted Due To Volleyball Camps In The Evening:

Sunday 2-4pm, Tuesday`10am-12pm, Thursday 10am-11:30pm

Week 3 – June 20th-24th:

Sunday 2-4pm, Tuesday 4:30pm-6:30pm, Thursday 4pm-5:30

Week 4 – June 27th-July 1st:

Sunday 2-4pm, Tuesday 4:30pm-6:30pm, Thursday 4pm-5:30
