In July of 2022 we’re doing all we can to help you get ready for school ball. We’ll be having several volleyball camps in Corpus Christi designed to help you get better. Whether you are in Corpus, the surrounding area, or beyond, our volleyball camps will help you sharpen your skills to be ready.
July 2022 Summer Volleyball Camps, Bootcamps, and Labs
Our camps are here to help you improve your skills bottom line. We have several types we’d like you to understand.
- Positional Labs – These are one day positional events typically lasting from 2-4 hours. They have a little tighter focus to help you get better in a few specific skills.
- Positional Boot Camps – Our positional boot camps are typically 2 day events for 3-4 hours a day dependent on the camp. These are a deeper dive into different volleyball positions.
- Camps – Our volleyball camps are typically all around camps designed to help you improve several of your skills overall. Camps run between 2 to 3 days for 2 to 4 hours a day dependent on the camp.
- All our volleyball camps in Corpus Christi are open to any volleyball player regardless of school or club although some camps may have a few more requirements to attend.
SETTERS
Want to improve your setting skills? Check out our Advanced Setter Lab happening Sunday, July 17th from 1-4pm.
Our Advanced Setter Lab for 9th-12th Grades is a one day event for setters led by our 14’s National Coach and Tulos0-Midway Head Coach Shelby Chapa.
The sessions focus specifically on drills that will help you master the footwork needed to get to the ball quicker as well as focus on consistent placement for your attackers and improving setting techniques for improved execution during game situations.

Our Middle School Setter Lab for 6th-8th grades is a great one day event for setters. This lab will be led by our 13’s National Coach and Assistant Volleyball Coach at Calallen High School Angie Velazquez.
We’ll be focusing on all the basics to help you begin to master setting: footwork, hands, and consistent placement.

LIBERO DEFENSE
Our Elite High School Libero-Defense Lab is a one day event happening July 23rd. This lab will be four hours and will be led by our 15’s National Team Coach and former Texas A & M University – Kingsville player Kelsi Luckenbach.
This position-specific lab focuses on elite passing and defensive techniques to help back row players become specialists in the art of controlling the volleyball. These skills include forearm passing, overhead passing, digging, rolling and back row play.
PLEASE NOTE: For the Elite High School Libero Lab you must have at least one season of club experience or one season of school varsity experience. (CCPAL/YMCA/Sokul/Recreational leagues are not considered club)

SERVING
Our Middle School Serving Lab is a one day event for 6th-8th grade beginner-intermediate players happening July 17th. One of the top two skills you need to posses is serving. We will focus on serving with a more consistent serve. This is a great lab for beginners and intermediate players who need a little more work on their serve. With this skill, you will become a valuable asset to any team.

Our Advanced High School Serve/Serve Receive Lab is a one day 3 hour event focused on the top two skills you need to posses to be an elite level player: serve and serve receive. Our top serve focus will be on mastering the Jump Float Serve. We’ll also focus on serving with a more aggressive and consistent serve. Next we’ll work on having a more consistent and accurate pass. This is a great lab for advanced players who want to elevate their serve. With these two skills, you will become a valuable asset to any team.

BACK TO SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL CAMPS
The last week of July we have two Back 2 School Volleyball Camps planned. We’re going to work on all your volleyball skills to help you get ready for school ball.
Our Back 2 High School Volleyball Camp will be happening July 25th & 26th from 6pm-9pm.

HITTERS
Want to hit harder, jump higher, and be a better hitter? Then sign up for one of our July hitting events.
Our Middle School Hitting Lab is a great event to help Middle School (6th-8th grades) players learn to hit harder and jump higher using proper technique. This camp is three hours long on Monday, July 11th from 1-4pm. In this lab we’re going to break down how to jump. We’ll work on your jump technique. And then we will work on hitting with POWER. Finally we’ll put it altogether with some live hitting.

Our Elite High School Hitter Boot Camp happening July 11th & 12th is a two day intensive hitting boot camp led by former Texas A & M University – Corpus Christi middle hitter and our 17’s National Coach Montez “Tez” Uiguise.
This camp will have a special emphasis on all types of hitting (terminating the ball) with placement utilizing shoots, 1’s, slides, swing offense, & combo plays. We’ll also have an emphasis on your footwork, transitioning and blocking. Will also include 1 hour of jump training powered by our Storm Sports Performance training!
