We’ve set our volleyball club tryout dates for our 2021 season and registration is open.
We’d love to invite you to try it out. If you haven’t chosen a club to play for or are interested in playing club volleyball choose Storm.
Our tryouts will be Sunday, June 14th and 28th.
June 14th is for all players who have prior club experience. Club experience means playing on a travel team that plays around the state. Playing in a local league is not a club experience. June 28th is for all players new to playing club. These players have no prior club experience but want to try out.
We have two types of teams of most of our ages.
Our Performance teams are high-level experience teams. They play on an open level which is the highest most experienced level of play in a club.
Our Select teams are for athletes who may not be able to make a performance team yet but need more and better training. These teams play on the club level and their tourney schedule is not typically made up of one-day tourneys.

This will be our 10th year as a club and our plan is to continue where we left off before the shutdown this year.
Our teams had their best seasons yet, with numerous 1st place overall in their tourneys. And if it wasn’t first, they often got 2nd or 3rd. One weekend alone 6 of our teams won their tournaments.
This year we had 9 of our seniors, our whole senior class, commit to playing collegiately. We’ve now helped 25 athletes get that opportunity.
We have the top coaching staff in Coastal Bend with the most experienced coaches.
We challenge our athletes to excel and compete.
This year we will have teams from 10 years of age to 18.
