July Summer Elite Volleyball Performance

Our summer volleyball prep training program is back again in July. Our Summer Elite Volleyball Performance training program is the top summer prep training program for volleyball players in the Corpus Christi/Coastal Bend Area.

What Is Elite Volleyball Performance?

Our Summer Elite Volleyball Performance program is four weeks of Volleyball Technique Training + Athlete Performance Training with our Elite Coaches and Trainers. Currently it is only for athletes who will be in the 8th-12th grades next school year.

We’ve studied the elite players and what they do. There are five pillars that stand out:

  1. Fundamentals – You have to have your fundamentals down.
  2. Strength – Elite players are just overall stronger.
  3. Athleticism – Truthfully elite players are more athletic. They are quicker, jump higher, have better reactions, and more body control.
  4. Injury Resilient – Because they are stronger and move correctly they are less susceptible for injuries.
  5. Game Play – Finally it’s your game play.

Our program is SIX hours of training weekly wrapped around our full 360 degree approach of these pillars to help develop elite volleyball players.

This program is broken down into two areas of focus a player can register for, which will allow us to focus a little more to the type of training these athletes need:

  • Hitter/Setters – Will focus on their specific area on the court while their athlete training will be more focused on jump, agility, & strength
  • Defensive Players/Setters – Will focus on their specific area on the court while their athlete training will be more focused on quickness, agility & strength

Each group will only have 10 athletes max so the volleyball training will be geared around smaller group lessons to focus the maximum on what these athletes need and get them maximum touches on the court.

It’s Volleyball Training Plus Athlete Training All Wrapped Up In One

How Does The Summer Elite Volleyball Performance  Work?

Athletes will have three, two hour training sessions:

  • Three Sessions of one hour on the court working volleyball skill and technique drills
  • Three Sessions of one hour of athlete performance training with a high emphasis on explosive speed and agility training for our defensive players and explosive jump and agility training for hitters/setters.

There will be three training days a week: Sunday’s, Monday’s & Wednesday’s

All training will happen at the Storm Training Center located at 1418 N. Broadway St., Corpus Christi, TX 78401

It’s for volleyball athletes who will be in the 8th-12th grades in the upcoming 2022-23 school year.

Cost is $350 for the full month of training.
